Robert Charles Gibbins

Robert Charles Gibbins

Robert Gibbins is a co-founder and member of the investment committee of Autonomy Investimentos since 2007.

For over 25 years, Robert has applied his fascination with the development and transition of economies and societies to the management of global macro and emerging market portfolios and investments – a distinctive focus that has personified Autonomy since he founded the firm as CIO in 2003.

After earning a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Robert began his career at JP Morgan in 1992. He subsequently traded northern European FX and interest rates at Lehman Brothers for two years and headed their Emerging Markets and Global Macro Proprietary Trading for seven more years, before deciding to start a company for professionals who share his blend of passion and pragmatism.

Roberto Miranda de Lima

Roberto Miranda de Lima

When Roberto founded Autonomy Investimentos in 2007, he already had more than ten years of experience in the real estate market. Civil Engineer from Escola Politécnica da USP, he became General Development Manager of Playcenter S.A in 1994, when it was a Private Equity invested by GP Investimentos.

In 1997, he joined Tishman Speyer, where he held the position of Head Commercial Developments for nine years, until he founded Autonomy. In the same year, in 2007, he joined the Board of MRV Engenharia S.A, where he stayed for two years.

Roberto holds an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, in São Paulo, and an extension from Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University in Boston, USA. Among its certificates are that of the Manager and Administrator of the Securities Portfolio by CVM (Comissão de Valores Imobiliários) and the CGA, Manager Certificate of Anbima.

Carlos Mateos

Carlos Mateos

Carlos is a partner and responsible for Autonomy’s Business Development and Investor Relations.

With 23 years of professional experience, he was director of portfolio management and investor relations at Pátria Investimentos for seven years before joining Autonomy in 2019.

Prior to that, he was a board member of Highline do Brasil S.A., director at JER Partners in the USA and held several positions at General Electric Capital as a risk management executive.

Carlos holds a degree in economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, a postgraduate degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and an MBA from The Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, USA. He is also certified as a Securities Portfolio Manager and Administrator by the CVM.

Fernanda Fontes

Partner

Fernanda Fontes is the Autonomy´s partner responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions since 2022.

Before joining Autonomy, she was partner and COO at São Carlos S.A. for 10 years, heading its main business unit and leading some of the most relevant Commercial Real Estate transactions in Brazil in such period. Besides her experience in Real Estate, Fernanda held leadership positions in General Electric, Safran and Schlumberger, in Brazil, USA and other Latin American countries.

Fernanda has a B.Sc. degree in Engineering from The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a ME degree from the University of Tulsa, in the USA, and several business executive education courses in Harvard and London Business School.

Fabio Suzuki

Fabio Suzuki

Fabio is CFO responsible for Autonomy’s Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance since 2024.

With 23 years of professional experience, Fabio was CFO and Finance Director of portfolio companies of private equities firms, such as CLI (logistics port company which served agribusiness chain), Infracommerce (full commerce and logistics) and Tecnogera (lease energy equipments), where he was exposed to debt structuring, M&As, IPO and change managements.

Prior to that, Fabio was a finance head at Patria Investments for more than 12 years, acting in different positions, such as member of finance portfolio companies’ committees, value creation, corporate development, risk management, financial planning, as well as all the finance positions in São Paulo and New York.

Fabio also worked for more than 4 years at Votorantim Bank, serving financial planning and control area.

Fabio holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Escola Politécnica de São Paulo (USP), MBA from FIA and Master in Finance from Baruch College/Zicklin Business School of New York, USA.

Rodrigo Calovini

Rodrigo Calovini

Rodrigo is responsible for project development, legal approvals and construction at Autonomy since 2010.

With 22 years of experience in civil construction, Rodrigo worked for 12 years at Hochtief do Brasil, a construction company, and at Turner Construction (Hochtief group), in Albany, NY between 2004 and 2005.

Rodrigo is a civil engineer graduated from the Polytechnic School of São Paulo (USP).

Andre Dias

Andre Dias

Andre is responsible for investor relations and new business at Autonomy accumulating over 10 years of experience in the alternative investments industry.

Prior to joining Autonomy, Andre was a fund controller and held different positions at Patria Investimentos since 2011, starting in São Paulo and working at the New York (2015 – 2015) and the Cayman Islands (2018 – 2019) offices of the fund maager.

Andre holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in São Paulo and a certification in Strategic Management from Harvard University.

Caroline Bertoldi

Caroline Bertoldi

Caroline is a Development Manager at Autonomy Investimentos since 2019. At Autonomy, Caroline is responsible for product development, partnership prospection and placemaking activation.

She has over 20 years of experience as a project leader in urban planning, public-private partnerships and real estate.

Caroline graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from EESC-USP, and has an MBA in Real Estate from POLI – USP.

Viviane Peduti

Viviane Peduti

Viviane is a Commercial Manager at Autonomy Investimentos since 2023.

She has more than 15 years of experience, of which 10 in the real estate sector, passing through the operations and commercial area of ​​galleries at GPA Malls (2013-2014) and purchasing and leasing at Tishman Speyer (2015 -2022).

Prior to the real estate experience, Viviane had 9 years of experience in purchasing in Camargo Corrêa, ABB and Grupo Pão de Açúcar.

Viviane holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado and a postgraduate degree in Retail from FGV.

Lilian Cristina Barco

Lilian Cristina Barco

Lílian is responsible for supporting project development, capex planning and control, contract management and monitoring of construction execution at Autonomy since 2008.

With over 31 years of experience in real estate development, Lílian was a cost and planning manager at Matec Engenharia e Construções Ltda, a cost controller for 3 years at Hochtief do Brasil and a supply manager and cost and planning engineer at Construtora Método Engenharia for 15 years.

Lílian graduated in civil engineering from the Polytechnic School of Engineering at the University of São Paulo (Poli – USP). She specialized in production engineering from Fundação Vanzolini – University of São Paulo and business planning and competitive strategy from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV
